The DEA proposed a new temporary order to keep MGM-15 and MGM-16, two 7-hydroxymitragynine-related substances, in Schedule I under the Controlled Substances Act.

The Drug Enforcement Administration proposed a temporary order covering MGM-15 and MGM-16, including their possible isomers, esters, ethers and salts. The order would maintain their temporary Schedule I placement following an order published on 26 August 2026.
