Sensorium Therapeutics reported Phase 1a data showing that a single 3 mg dose of SNTX-2643 produced CNS activity within two hours and attenuated stress responses at two and 24 hours in healthy adults.

In 63 healthy adults, SNTX-2643 was generally well tolerated and showed predictable pharmacokinetics with no clinically significant food effect. In a 25-person target-engagement cohort, the 3 mg dose reduced brain responses to psychological stress and fear-inducing videos at two and 24 hours, while plasma concentrations declined from approximately 6.0 to 0.6 ng/mL. Higher doses are planned for future evaluation.
