Article summary
This preprint reanalysed resting-state brain scans from two crossover studies in healthy volunteers, finding that LSD, psilocybin and mescaline were associated with more model-defined βgatewayβ regions in frontoparietal-control and dorsal-attention networks than matched placebo. MDMA and D-amphetamine showed different, partly overlapping patterns; across drug conditions, similarities in brain-network changes tracked similarities in reported subjective effects.
