Psilera appointed Allyson Gage, PhD, as Vice President of Clinical Development to lead the Phase 1a first-in-human trial of its neuroplastogen PSIL-006.

Gage will oversee the trial, which will assess PSIL-006’s safety, tolerability and biomarkers in support of development for depression, addiction, PTSD and neurodegeneration. Psilera said the programme follows an $8.8 million seed round and NIH grant support for IND-enabling studies.
